Our vampire PI faces an unpleasant part of his past when he learns a
convicted murderer with some confidential information is being released
from prison. It seems the killer is threatening to reveal Mick's undead
identity.
Episode 1x03 – Dr. Feelgood

You'd think that Beth would run for the hills now that she knows the
truth about Mick's secret identity. Instead she decides to help the
undead PI locate and stop a newbie vampire who can't control his bloodthirst.
Mick hunts a renegade vampire who can't control his urges to kill.
Episode 1x04 – Fever
Aired: October 19th, 2007
Mick has got himself injured in a process of finding a young girl who
is supposedly hiding in the desert. Due to scorching sunlight and immense
heat, Mick is depleted of his vampiric ability to heal himself. As a
result, Beth will have to take drastic measures to save Mick's life.
Episode 1x05 – Arrested Development

Mick hunts a teenage vampire who is hunting female escorts he finds
on the Internet. Beth tracks down a story about a dead prostitute. Their
paths cross while trying to avoid each other after sharing a intimate
moment.
Episode 1x06 – B.C

Josef goes to Mick to find a vamp who is also an on again/off again
girlfriend. Beth is investigating the death of a model from a new unknown
drug. They end up working together to find and destroy the supply of
this drug.
Episode 1x07 – The Ringer
Aired: November 9th, 2007
Mick experiences deja vu when a fire investigation that destroys a
historic Hollywood hotel seemingly replicates the night Coraline died.
Mick's sense of nostalgia grows when a woman he is working with bears
a striking resemblance to his ex-wife.

When a cult target a young woman based on their belief that she was
responsible for their leader's death, Mick offers to help her.
Episode 1x09 - Fleur de Lis

Mick is hired to provide surveillance on a rich man's wife, and one of the conditions is that the husband wants photo proof of the affair. Mick asks Morgan, the female photographer who bears a striking resemblance to Coraline, to help him with the pictures and they get mixed up in more than a cheating spouse case. Beth gets jealous over their working together and researches Morgan's past. She makes a shocking discovery that the mystery lady isn't who she claims to be.

Mick and Beth take Coraline to the hospital to treat her wound. Someone attempts to kill Josef by blowing up his apartment.
Episode 1x11 - Love Lasts Forever

Josh is working on the biggest case of his career, a conviction against a member of a very dangerous gang. Things turn personal for Josh and Mick when the gang threatens Beth's life. Mick offers to help Josh protect Beth, then the gang changes their mind and targets Josh. Mick must make a difficult choice that will affect his relationship with Beth forever.
Episode 1x12 - The Mortal Cure

Mick investigates Coraline's disappearance from the hospital and finds that she got help from an old friend. He finds the answers he's looking for, along with a surprising link to the French revolution and some shocking information about Coraline. Meanwhile, while putting Josh's affairs in order, Beth discovers evidence leading her to believe Josh was cheating on her.
Episode 1x13- Fated to Pretend

Benjamin Talbot, a new A.D.A., investigates the murder of Beth's boss Maureen. Beth and Mick pursue their own investigation, Benjamin warns them not to spoil any evidence that could lead to the culprit. Mick provides some good advice and some surprising empathy to a troubled teenager Bonnie with secrets of her own.

Mick is hired to help protect a rising Hollywood starlet who feels threatened by paparazzi, but she ends up murdered. Meanwhile, Beth gets a new boss at BuzzWire.

When Mick sees that the grandson of a WWII buddy has been kidnapped, he immediately offers his assistance. Mick begins to wonder if he has a more personal connection to the missing boy than he thought, which leads to Beth learning more about Mick's hidden past.
Episode 1x16 - Sonata
Aired: May 16, 2008
A human is killed by a vampire in the heat of passion, causing Mick and Beth to face the ultimate consequences of a vampire-human relationship. The investigation of the murder puts Mick and Josef's secret identities in jeopardy, forcing them to join forces with the other vampires in Los Angeles to keep their secret safe.
